We Need Your Help TODAY!
Kim’s Cat Crusade is an ALL-VOLUNTEER organization – 100%. Which means your time spent volunteering with us will be appreciated greatly, and you will make a significant difference in the lives of homeless cats in Pinellas County.
WAYS TO VOLUNTEER:
We need volunteers for many activities to support our work. Below are a few of our most needed volunteer services, but if you have a SPECIAL SKILL to contribute, please contact us. We likely have a place for you.
Volunteer Colony Caregiver — FEEDING
This is our most important volunteer need.
If you can volunteer every day to feed a small group of cats
or one day a week to feed several groups…
whatever time you can share, WE NEED YOUR HELP.
Caregiver Volunteers FEED, but they also monitor cat communities:
- to monitor community cats to watch for distress or the need for special care or medical treatment;
- AND MUCH MORE.
MANAGED Cat Colony Caregiver
If you already manage a colony of community cats at your home or somewhere else, we want to connect with you and make you part of our Caregiver Network. By joining the Network, you can access resources and support that can help you care for your community cats, and together, we will have a stronger voice to represent and advocate for all homeless cats in Pinellas County.
Social Media Management
If you have basic to advanced social media skills, we desperately need your help. We need help monitoring and posting on our Facebook page and Instagram page and to help us create a social media presence other cat lovers will want to follow.
Cat Food Pick-Up
We need volunteers willing to travel to pick up MUCH NEEDED cat food from our regional pet food bank. THAT’s RIGHT: There’s a food bank just for pet food, and we desperately need to access those donated and bargain food supplies.
