Feeding
Kim’s Cat Crusade feeds hundreds of feral, stray and abandoned cats every day throughout the Saint Petersburg area and beyond.
Medical Care
While doing daily feedings, our volunteers monitor feline health and medical needs to keep the community safe and to get these sick cats the medical care and attention they need.
- We feed more than 250 cats EVERY DAY located in 40 colonies, mostly located in St. Petersburg.
- We regularly solicit donations of pet food to maintain our feeding for a growing population of community cats.
- We work with caregivers of Managed Cat Colonies around Pinellas to provide assistance.
- We regularly look for other colonies and offer assistance however possible.
- We provide simple treatments to community cats for minor issues (such as flea treatment).
- We regularly solicit donations of needed supplies and medical care to provide these basic treatments.
- For ill or injured kitties, we coordinate needed medical care.
- We encounter special cases of community cats who can no longer live independently, we help find permanent placement in a nearby sanctuary community.
“I’ve found that the way a person feels about cats—and the way they feel about him or her in return—is usually an excellent gauge by which to measure a person’s character.”
